The most obvious reason to rent a motorhome or camper is, of course, a well-earned holiday. If you are drawn to camping but would rather sleep in a proper bed, this is the perfect compromise. Campsites offer so many options, you can enjoy the beach, the mountains, and the city all in one holiday while returning each night to your own comfortable, familiar space.

A motorhome is your own little home from home but if it’s your first time away how do you know what to take. Something we hear time and again when we talk with our new hires is “What should I pack for a motorhome holiday?”.

So here’s the thing, do you plan the perfect motorhome break or does it just happen and at the end of the day that all comes down to who you are.

There are nights spent in the van listening to the sea ‘til you fall asleep or waking up to bird song and doing it all again the next day. 16 years ago we bought our first motorhome, a mk1 Ford Transit that was a little damp and a lot out of fashion and delightfully slow.
