High Peak Holidays Motorhome Hire

Cost

Oct 1st- March 31st   from £114.00 per day. April 1st—May 19th from £142.50 per day. May 20th—Sept 30th £159.00 per day (Full week hire only July and  August.) Possible last-minute short breaks may be available on request.
£1000 Security deposit payable on day of departure (refunded within 7 days of vehicle return following full inspection).  The hirer is liable for any cosmetic damage to the exterior and interior including but not confined to bedding, towels, crockery, fixtures, fittings, bikes, bike rack, mirrors, lights, habitation windows.  Hirer is liable for any damages above the security deposit amount. Vans must be returned with a full tank of diesel and all waste tanks (including toilets) emptied.
25% Deposit required at time of  booking. Remainder payable 6 weeks before departure date. Bookings made less than 6 weeks to departure date will require full payment at time of booking.
Cancellation policy

Bookings cancelled: More than 6 weeks prior to hire 25% of total hire cost payable.

Between 2 weeks to 6 weeks 50%

Less than 2 weeks and no shows 100%

Insurance requirements

In the event of a collision, the hirer is liable for the insurance excess. 

This is:

£1000 for all drivers aged 25-75
All drivers must:

Have held a full UK licence for 2yrs. 

Provide their UK licence, 2 utility bills or 1 utility bill and 1 bank/credit card statement.  All addresses must be your current home address. Provide a DVLA check code, this is obtained from www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence.  You will need your national insurance number and licence number.
The Motorhome cannot be let out on hire to or be driven by: a) Hirers under 25 or over 75 years of age unless otherwise agreed by the Insurer b) Hirers aged under 25 unless a full valid United Kingdom or EU driving licence has been held for 3 years and prior authority has been given by insurers. c) Hirers who have not held a full valid United Kingdom or EU driving licence for 2 years. d) Persons who have been convicted of an offence in connection with the driving of a motor vehicle or motorcycle and/or have had their driving licence endorsed or suspended or more than 6 penalty points imposed. “Spent” convictions, covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 may be disregarded. e) Persons who have had their insurance declined and/or renewal refused and/or special insurance terms imposed as a result of claims experience and/or have had their insurance or cover cancelled by any Motor Insurer. f) Persons engaged wholly or partly in professional entertainment or professional sports persons. g) Jockeys and persons connected with racing, gaming industry or press of any sort. h) Undergraduates and/or students under 25 years of age. i) Persons who, whilst driving, have been involved in more than one accident during the past 3 years. j) Foreign Service Personnel other than persons holding a full UK/EU licence for two years or more.
